Back to Taunton

Coventry Cathedral

I arrived back in Taunton last night - an uneventful journey this time!! I felt sad as I said goodbye to Flo and left Coventry, what a wonderful time we had. I hadn't seen Flo since 1982 when I left Zimbabwe and it was great to catch up and talk about school days, time in Zimbabwe, our families and our own adventures!. A favourite topic being our grandchildren. We both enjoy being a 'hands on' grandma - it was fun to share our adventures and the times we each spend with our grandchildren.

It's a beautiful day here today in Taunton, getting back here last night I realised that I only have 2 weeks left of my holiday.

I head off to Penzance, Cornwall on Monday morning for 3 days, hopefully I will get to Lands end. Probably go to Weymouth on Sunday, the weather forecast is good!!!
